LuminaMesh

Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

Short version: LuminaMesh is a free tool provided as-is. You're responsible for verifying that any converted or repaired file is actually fit for your purpose before printing or manufacturing it. We don't see or store your files.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LuminaMesh at luminamesh.xyz ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

LuminaMesh provides free, browser-based tools for 3D printing and CAD file preparation, including a STEP/STP to STL and 3MF converter and an STL wall thickness analyzer and repair tool. All file processing runs locally in your browser; no file you open in LuminaMesh is uploaded to a server. See the Privacy Policy for details.

3. No Account Required

LuminaMesh does not require registration, and we do not knowingly collect account or profile information from users.

4. Your Content and Files

You retain all rights to any 3D model or CAD file you process using LuminaMesh. Because processing happens entirely client-side, LuminaMesh never receives, stores, or has access to your files, and makes no claim to them.

You are responsible for having the necessary rights to any file you process, and for how you use any output the tool produces.

5. No Warranty

LuminaMesh is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Geometry conversion and mesh repair are automated processes and can produce unexpected results on unusual or malformed input files.

Always visually inspect any converted or repaired file — and, where it matters, verify dimensions and wall thickness — before sending it to a printer, a manufacturing service, or anyone relying on its accuracy. LuminaMesh is a pre-flight and repair aid, not a substitute for engineering judgment on parts where a mistake would be costly, unsafe, or load-bearing.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LuminaMesh and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service — including wasted material, failed prints, or damage caused by a part produced from a converted or repaired file. Your use of the Service and any output it produces is at your own risk.

7. Third-Party Advertising

LuminaMesh is supported by display advertising served through Google AdSense. Advertisements are placed and managed by Google; LuminaMesh does not control the specific content of individual ads. See the Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies are used.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

9. Changes to the Service or These Terms

LuminaMesh may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time without notice. We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to luminamesh@gmail.com, or via the Contact page.
